[Webinar] China Economic Outlook with Credit Suisse

Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham,

China's economy has been the growth engine for the world for many years. Since 2020, this has changed due to the Covid outbreak and subsequent lockdowns and regulations that impacted the economic and social lives of companies and people in China alike.

How will this year end for the Chinese economy and what are the expectations for 2023 and beyond? Will China return to a stable growth path by continuing to open up its economy to foreign investors and expats? And what can foreign companies expect in terms of market access, economic support and new policies?

To answer these questions and more, we are delighted to have David Wang with us. David is the Head of Asia Economics (ex Japan) and the Chief China Economist at Credit Suisse. He joined the Swiss bank in 2018 and previously worked at the International Monetary Fund, Black Rock and Morgan Stanley.
