Event Details

The European Union is delighted to invite you to the Tasting Seminar that will take place at the Marco Polo Hotel in Xiamen.


The objective of this event, under European Union's "Colours by Europe" communication campaign, is to raise awareness among F&B professionals about the quality, safety and authenticity of European food and drinks, specifically meats, cheese and olive oil.


This event will feature three sessions in which Advanced Sommelier Henry Wu and beer expert Yue Li will explain the organoleptic characteristics of wine and beer and how to pair them with EU food, that will be introduced by Executive Chef Yu Chao. A detailed overview of the characteristics of origin and place, with an emphasis on Geographical Indication (GIs) schemes in Europe, will also be provided.


You will have the opportunity to discover different kinds of EU wines, beer and food, make sure to register and attend to taste all of them!
