The European Union is delighted to invite you to the Technical Tasting that will take place in Crowne Plaza Chongqing Jiefangbei.
The objective of this event, under European Union's "Colours by Europe" communication campaign, is to raise awareness among F&B professionals about the quality, safety and authenticity of European food and drinks, specifically meats, cheese and olives.
This event will feature three sessions in which Chef Tang Kevin and Beer Expert Yue Li will explain the organoleptic characteristics of meat, cheese and olive paired with beers, as well as characteristics of origin and place with an emphasis on Geographical Indication (GIs) schemes in Europe. A Ham Carving Expert will introduce the art of carving while explaining the main organoleptic features.
You will have the opportunity to discover three kinds of meat (pork, veal and beef), six kinds of cheese and three kinds of olive and to taste all of them!
At this end of the tasting, a mixologist will demonstrate how to prepare cocktails with a focus on GIs spirits that you will be free to taste.
A Q&A session will give you the opportunity to ask questions to all experts and receive additional information about EU F&B products.
