Cheese is engraved onto Europe's food culture. The EU is, by far, the main cheese producing region in the world. From almost any corner of the EU, cheese makers excel creating safe, high quality and authentic master pieces that are enjoyed all over the world.

The EU has a remarkable variety of cheese; with different characteristics and consumption habits that come from distinctive production processes, raw materials and geographical particularities that make the European Union the "cheese region" par excellence.
