Berlin Business Desk China (BBDC) is the first business office founded by the State Government of Berlin’s Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises on April 17, 2018. As the first contact point in China, the main functions of the BBDC include facilitating Berlin’s enterprises entering the Chinese market and providing Chinese enterprises investment opportunities in the German capital.
BBDC supports Berlin’s enterprises in navigating around market expansions and market entry opportunities, provides them with suitable contacts, and help them get connected to business partners, governments and institutions. The office focuses on supporting the German capital’s economy in its most vital and most innovative fields, including Healthcare, Information and Communication, Media and creative, Transport, mobility and logistics, Energy technology and clean technologies, Photonics.

Welcome to our "30 years Berlin & Beijing" celebration!


Introduction:

Berlin and Beijing became partner cities 30 years ago. On November 4th, Berlin will celebrate this anniversary with an event hosted by the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises. Mr. Michael Biel, Permanent Secretary, will be in attendance during his visit to Beijing with a delegation from November 3rd to 5th.

The celebration will begin in the afternoon with the 2024 Berlin & Beijing Business Dialogue, followed by an Evening Celebration. The event is organized by the Berlin Business Desk China and Messe Berlin China. The Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Public Enterprises will be joined by co-hosts including Berlin Partner, Visit Berlin, Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Goethe-Institut, and the Senate Chancellery, representing the Governing Mayor of Berlin.
