[Webinar] China Healthcare Outlook with Novartis

The pharmaceutical healthcare market in China is one of the most competitive and complex industry in China and at the forefront of China's socio-economic changes. Foreign large scale and small and medium size companies together with local rising Chinese companies are competing for a USD 170 billion dollar market and hundreds of millions of patients. With a focus on active molecules, the international pharma industry has put China as its priority and some companies make up to 20% of their worldwide sales in China. Pressure on prices, changing government policies, various standards of care, low compliance on medication, difficulty to access patients and a fragmented landscape all make for one of the most dynamic industry. Healthcare is a key focus for the Chinese central government with its Zero covid policy and Healthy China 2030 strategy.
