About Siemens Electronics Works Chengdu (SEWC):

The Siemens Chengdu Digital Factory was established in 2013, covering a production area of 14,000 square meters. It primarily focuses on the research, development, and production of industrial automation products. Its core product, the PLC, is widely used across multiple industrial manufacturing sectors such as automotive and electronics manufacturing. Currently, the Chengdu facility accounts for nearly 50% of Siemens' global production capacity in this field.

In 2023, Siemens invested an additional 1.1 billion RMB in fixed assets to construct Phase IV of its Chengdu Digital Factory, establishing it as Siemens' largest global R&D and production base for industrial automation products.

What to Expect:

Here you can explore the most mainstream digital technology applications today: digital twins, artificial intelligence, data analytics, AR/VR, 5G, cloud computing, edge computing, and more.

• Shopfloor Tour

This Siemens tour is primarily aimed at senior corporate executives. Members seeking discussions on specific technical topics may participate in future technical events organized by VDMA.
