Company Introductions

Ziya Economic andTechnological Development Zone (Ziya ETDZ): is a national-level development zone approved by China's State Council in 2012. It is the country's first and largest national-level development zone to position the circular economy as its leading industry, specializing in waste processing, resource reuse, and low-carbon industries. Strategically located within the core functional area of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region. Key companies operating in the zone include Sinone Group, Battery Science & Technology, and TCL Aobo.During the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit held in Tianjin in 2025, Ziya ETDZ was designated as the China–SCO Green Industry Cooperation Platform. The platform focuses on sharing China's experience in waste processing and resource reuse with other SCO member states.

Battery Science & Technology Co., Ltd.: founded in 2018, is a subsidiary of Luen Mei Group. The company specialises in the recycling of end-of-life power batteries from new energy vehicles (NEVs), and recovereing their valuable materials. Its independently developed core technologies enable safe and environmentally friendly battery recycling and processing, achieving a comprehensive resource recovery rate of more than 95%. The company is included on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "whitelist" of approved power-battery recycling enterprises. Its Tianjin production facility has an annual processing capacity of 10,000 tons of end-of-life power batteries. The company has also established partnerships with leading businesses, including BYD and SANY.

TCL Aobo (Tianjin) Environmental Protection and Development Co., Ltd.: established by TCL Group in 2009 under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme, the company is located in the Ziya Economic and Technological Development Zone in Tianjin and covers approximately 280,000 square metres. Its principal activities include the recycling and treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment. With a cumulative investment of RMB 950 million, the facility has been designated a state-level green factory. Since its establishment, the company has recycled and processed more than 25 million units of waste electrical and electronic equipment and recovered approximately 900,000 tonnes of metals, plastics, glass, and other materials.

Tianjin Xinneng Renewable Resource Co., Ltd.: established in 2018 in Tianjin, is a subsidiary of Sinone Group. The company uses scrap copper recovered within the Ziya industrial Park to produce bright copper rods through an innovative continuous casting and rolling process. These rods are supplied as raw materials to downstream wire and cable manufacturers. The company also collects, processes, and sells other recyclable materials and recycles and repurposes power batteries from new energy vehicles. It is licensed to dismantle end-of-life motor vehicles and manage hazardous waste. Through its automated dismantling line and "Scrap King" cloud platform, the company has achieved a copper-rod production capacity of 20 metric tons per hour. It can process 40,000 end-of-life vehicles and 1.5 million discarded household appliances annually. In 2022, it was recognized as one of China's Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises.

Haier Recycling Interconnected Factory: founded in 2022 in Laixi City / Qingdao. It is the first interconnected facility in China's home-appliance recycling industry. The facility operates six appliance-disassembly lines, three cleaning and crushing lines, one electrostatic sorting line, and eight pelletizing lines. It has the capacity to dismantle three million appliances and recycle 30,000 metric tons of material annually. With an annual disassembly capacity of 3 million units and a recycling capacity of 30,000 tons. Through the use of industrial internet and industrial robotics technologies, the factory has achieved a high degree of automation across the entire process, including warehouse management, logistics and distribution, product processing, and material handling. Leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) and big data technologies, the factory has implemented real-time collection, transmission, analysis, and feedback of data related to the recycling process of waste household appliances to achieve the Dual Carbon target and explore new models for a green circular economy.

North Star Advanced Recycling Technology: founded in 2020, it's a technology-driven company specializing in lithium-ion battery recycling, with proprietary expertise in advanced equipment, process design, material recovery, and carbon management. Leveraging our strong R&D capabilities, the company integrates digitalization and AI to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and environmental performance. While the company's primary focus is on battery recycling, it also develops solutions for solar panels, wind turbines, and other resource recycling challenges, driving innovation in the circular economy.
