Event Details

At its core, food should nourish our bodies, help us maintain optimal health, and make us feel good. All too often, however, cultural, social, psychological, and other factors influence our thoughts and behaviors around food, leading us to develop a conflicted relationship with eating. The more complicated this relationship becomes, the more likely negative emotions will be attached to food in general and our eating habits in particular. In this group, our relationship with food is examined through the lens of cognitive behavioral therapy to gain insight into the factors influencing our eating behavior. Development of coping strategies will also be addressed.
