Kevin Shimota​ was a top executive at WeChat during its rapid growth days from 2015-2019.

He'll give us the inside story and his insights on one of the major trends in Chinese tech and society: the rise of the "superapp" that combines everything from your wallet to social media, messaging, food ordering and gaming.

Kevin can tell the story of WeChat's creation, offer thoughts on the psyche of its founder, and discuss what's next for superapps in China and globally.
