Introduction
In today's rapidly evolving industrial sector, Smart Manufacturing has become a major force for change, fusing cutting-edge technologies such as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and automation to transform traditional manufacturing processes profoundly. As technology continues to advance, several key points of industrial transformation will become particularly important. To explore the above themes, VDMA organized the first VDMA Industry Future Fit Conference on 17 November 2023 at Smart Factory in the German Industrial Park in Kunshan, where the main topic of the conference was to explore industrial transformation in different areas such as technological impacts, sustainable development, future workforce talent and regulations.
At the same time, AI technologies are bringing new opportunities for manufacturing transformation and upgrading. In today's world, more and more enterprises are fundamentally changing their production methods and management modes through the introduction of AI technology, which greatly improves their competitiveness in the market while enhancing product quality and production efficiency and reducing costs. The 2nd VDMA Industry Future Fit Conference on June 4, 2024, at Zizhu Hightech Park in Shanghai, will focus on the theme of Artificial Intelligence and is aimed to invite experts in the manufacturing sector, top and senior-level executives from enterprises, as well as technicians from the customer industries. Around 400 experts from different fields of the industry and representatives of VDMA member companies are expected to attend the event.
在当今迅猛发展的工业领域，智能制造已经成为引领变革的重要力量，将工业物联网（IIoT）和自动化等尖端技术融合，深刻改变了传统的制造流程。随着技术的不断进步，工业转型的几个关键点将变得尤为重要。为了围绕上述主题展开探讨，VDMA于2023年11月17日在昆山德国工业园蕴启工业智能制造实验室举办了第一届面向未来：VDMA行业大会，主要议题是探讨工业转型，涉及技术影响、可持续发展、未来劳动力人才和法规等不同领域。
与此同时，人工智能技术也为制造业转型升级带来了新的机遇。在当今世界，越来越多的企业正在通过引入人工智能技术，从根本上改变了企业的生产方式和管理模式，在提升产品质量和生产效率、降低成本的同时，也极大地提高了企业在市场上的竞争力。因此第二届面向未来：VDMA行业大会计划于2024年6月4日于上海紫竹高新园区举办，大会将聚焦于人工智能主题，面向制造业领域专家、企业中高层高管以及客户端技术人员。活动预计将邀请300至400位来自制造业不同领域的专家以及VDMA会员企业代表出席。
