Kwang-Geun (James) Lee is a professor of Food Chemistry in the Department of Food Science and Biotechnology of Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea and has a broad experience in the field of food toxicant analysis. He received his degrees in the area of food science and technology from Seoul National University (B.S. and M.S.) and University of California, Davis (Ph.D.). So far, 130 graduate students and 200 scientific research papers were produced in his laboratory. He served as the Dean of Dongguk University’s College of Biological Science for 2 years (2017-2019).
In 2007, he did first enter the startup ecosystem as the director of Dongguk University Business Incubation center. Since then he has been serving as the director of Dongguk Univ. Startup Foundation. In Korea business incubation association (KOBIA), he is working as president since 2022. In Asian association of business incubation (AABI), he is serving as a vice-president (2022-2023) and president since 2024.
