Leading economies such as China or the European Union have announced ambitious carbon neutrality targets and Climate Change action plans. At the corporate level, more and more corporations - large companies as well as SMEs - have strengthened their corporate social responsibility guidelines by setting up clear improvement goals towards sustainability. 


During this event, a range of speakers from various green sustainibility related sectors will share with you how companies can make their facilities more sustainable and reduce their environmental footprint. Additionally, these experts will explain how being sustainable goes beyond compliance and bring real economic and social benefits to companies.

    Dr. Tobias Arndt completed his industrial engineering studies at RWTH Aachen University (Germany) with a diploma in 2012. During that time, he also received his Master of Science at the Tsinghua University in Beijing. He was working as a research associate and project manager at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for more than four years. Dr. Arndt conducted several research and consulting projects with industry related to production, logistics, and supply chain optimization. In his PhD thesis, he focused on quality control strategies in global manufacturing networks. Since 2017, Dr. Arndt serves as the General Manager of GAMI, establishing fruitful Sino-German collaborations between industry and research in the field of smart manufacturing.
