We listen, we share, and we give thanks.

Darren Taylor
- Darren graduated with a firstdegree in EnglishStudies, he is an experienced teacher with over 28 years of educational background who graduated from Leeds University, UK.
- He taught English at the University of Southampton and was also a senior IELTS examiner.
- He taught English literature at international schools for many years in many Asian countries.
- With a proven ability to work with both native and non-native students, Darren is good at stimulating students' potential.

New Horizons
The New Horizons Language Arts program is a comprehensive program for Grades 1-10. From the first grade level we start from the basics, such as learning habits, interests and confidence, and then we move on to reading and writing, critical thinking and finally reasoning and analyzing skills. At all stages, we encourage students to apply newly acquired knowledge to their own essay writing.
New Horizons Language Arts programs follow the Western educational system. The programs are designed by New Horizons instructors based on the Common Core Framework in the hope to bring authentic English language arts education to international students in Shanghai as well as ambitious Chinese students who plan to study abroad.
