Event Summary

If you think artificial intelligence is absent from your life, have you ever considered your email inbox? The spam filter is one example of its everyday use; social media's newsfeeds are another one. Many organizations and platforms are already using it.

Does a company's culture and values affect its development and use of A.I.? How will this influence society?

Join us this Friday, May 17 as we invite Mahdi Shariff, co-founder of Guanxi.AI to discuss the relationship between cultural values, society and A.I.

The conversation will include: how cultural and organizational values are embedded into technology and A.I.; what these values mean for how A.I. is deployed and what impact this has on society; and what society should consider when looking at these social impacts to create the products and organizations of the future.

Fresh Start Rotary Club of Shanghai is a member club of a global network of 1.2 million who envision a world where people unite to create lasting change. We support social enterprise and help empower entrepreneurs with a social purpose.

We warmly welcome all to attend, listen, and ask questions.

*As we are a volunteer organization, we are not equipped to deal with refunds; so, please be sure of your purchase. Thank you.
