Having lived and worked in China for over 20 years, Dionne Holder is not only an old-China hand, but is a force to be reckon with. Dionne first arrived in China in 1997 to pursue studies at the prestigious Beijing University. Fast forward 23 years later, she has built a decorated career as the Managing Director of Freeman's China Office and will be moving onto a new role in Freeman US.
Through these 2 decades, Dionne has witnessed the breathtaking transformation of China and have rode the waves every single step of the way -- from the Summer Olympics, the global financial crisis of 2008 to now in the COVID era.
When COVID19 first hit, Dionne found herself at one of the most devastating yet important roles in her life -- to help lead and ensure Freeman's survival through COVID. In this process, she had to learn how to "lead while your heart is breaking" and make painful decisions in restructuring the business and eliminating redundancies.
Nevertheless, Dionne's leadership helped Freeman emerge out of COVID stronger than ever. Not only has the company developed a 3-guiding light strategy, Freeman has also completed work at both the Chengdu and Beijing Auto Show for Porsche and Maserati, Google, Forebright, Lenovo, League of Legends, Huawei, SKYWORTH, SABIC, Audi, and more post-COVID.
