Professor ZHANG Linghan from China University of Political Science and Law, and Alban Kwan, APAC head of Corporate Development and Strategic Alliances for CSC, will be invited to share their profound understanding and knowledge on AI in two sessions:

Session I: Interpretation on the legislation and regulation over AI and the international trends on AI governance

The legislation and governance of AI have been put on the agenda of many countries and international organizations this year and the year to come. How will China's artificial intelligence legislation and regulatory activities affect corporate practices and multinational business operations? At the "AI Governance Forum - Outlook of Legal Governance on Artificial Intelligence" held on March 16, participants released the "Artificial Intelligence Act of the People's Republic of China (Scholar Suggested Draft)", which was jointly drafted by 7 research institutions. The draft drew wide attention from domestic regulatory authorities, mainstream media both at home and abroad, and oversea think tanks. In this session, Professor ZHANG Linghan, the leading expert of the proposed draft, will provide detailed interpretation over artificial intelligence legislation, regulatory activities, international governance trends, and concerns of multinational enterprises, etc.

Session II: Overview of AI, the relationship between AI and Internet and its impact on brand protection

A.I. is a rapidly changing phenomenon, and it will undoubtedly impact online brand protection. The hype around AI means that its impact can often be misunderstood or even overstated. In Session II, Alban Kwan will provide a foundational overview of AI and its relationship with Internet (including future Internet) to establish basic understanding of AI and discuss some latest policy developments trends which may impact brand protection, and then segment into 2 practical discussions: 1. How AI will actually impact brand protection; 2. How AI will impact brand protection related cybersecurity issues such as phishing attacks.
