Offshore Litigation Tools for CIETAC Arbitrations

Bermudan, British Virgin Islands ("BVI") and Cayman Islands structures are frequently a party to CIETAC arbitrations. Matters ancillary to arbitrations seated in jurisdictions in the Asia Pacific region often come before the BVI, Bermuda and Cayman Courts. During this seminar, we will discuss the key offshore litigation tools available to parties in CIETAC arbitrations, with reference to recent developments in the law in

Bermuda, BVI and Cayman.

In particular, we will be addressing:

1. Interim remedies,

2. Enforcement strategies, and

3. Parallel proceedings.
