AustCham South China

The China-Australia Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (AustCham Beijing) was established in 1996 and has as its goal the advancement of the broader Australia-China business relationship through the effective representation of its 250 members. We achieve this through building connections between our members and broader stakeholders in Australia and China, delivery of effective advocacy programs and provision of information and insights through our business events and online platform.

Core to our ability to deliver on our mission are our member-led industry forums. All of our events have a strong industry focus. We release White Papers and industry specific position papers throughout the year, an important medium for communicating member priorities. The Chamber regularly engages with government and other key stakeholders on issues of concern to members, and actively contributes to the public debate.

Importantly, AustCham Beijing runs unique programs for students of Australian universities and recent graduates which provide opportunities for work experience, mentoring and cultural training. Our members believe in the importance of investing in our future business leaders, and this is a Chamber priority.

AustCham Beijing works closely with its sister Chambers in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Bohai, Chengdu and Hong Kong, under the AustCham Greater China banner.

The China Australia Chamber of Commerce - South China (AustCham South China) would like to extend our invitation to you to join our Melbourne Cup Celebration on Tuesday 7th November at Residence G Hotel in Shenzhen.

The Melbourne Cup is an iconic Australian sporting event commonly labelled as "The race that stops the nation". The annual event is observed on the first Tuesday of November, and celebrates Australia's rich sporting culture, fashion and glamour. This year is the 163rd running of the Melbourne Cup with the race first held in 1861.


墨尔本杯是澳大利亚人民标志性的体育赛事，被视为"举国屏息的赛事"。活动在每年11月份的首个星期二举行，旨在庆祝澳大利亚多样的体育文化、体育时尚以及竞技魅力。该比赛于1861年首次举行，今年是墨尔本杯的第163届比赛。

Gloria Ansell, influenced largely by electronic dance music, Gloria Ansell's sets are a musical journey with various genres tastefully combined to make her sets perfect for many occasions at venues her style touches on house genres from electro, around the world. Her passion, devotion, and energy combined with her undeniable skills behind the decks make her a dj that is not only amazing to listen and dance to but also to watch!

Gloria Ansell's career has taken her all over the globe of play at world renowned destinations from Ibiza to Miami and cities in Australia, Africa, Mexico, Nepal, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and numerous cities all over China. She has held partnership and an ongoing residency since 2013 at one or southern China's most influential nightclubs, Pepper Club, which is world renowned for booking legendary producers in the music scene and has rapidly helped to shape the Shenzhen nightlife realm. She has shared the booth there with respected artists such as Bob Sinclar, Richie Hawtin, My Digital Enemy, James Zabiela, Federico Scavo, Boy George, Plastik Funk, Dirty Vegas, David Tort, Dave Seaman, Alex Kenji, Tenishia, Stefan Dabruck, and Howie B. She has also opened for top100 DJ's wolfpack, at one of their private release parties in Shenzhen, and was also the warm up DJ for celebrity pop singer Iyaz when he performed in Beijing.

Warmbloods are a group of middle-weight horse types and breeds primarily originating in Europe and registered with organizations that are characterized by open studbook policy, studbook selection, and the aim of breeding for equestrian sport. The term distinguishes these horses from both heavy draft horses ("cold bloods") and refined light saddle horses such as the Thoroughbred, Arabian, and Akhal-Teke ("hot bloods"). Although modern warmbloods are descended from heavier agricultural types systematically upgraded by hotblood influence, the term does not imply that warmbloods are direct crosses of "cold" and "hot".
