About this Seminar: Making Cities and Buildings Smarter, More Sustainable and the Best Place to Live

Today, more than 3.9 billion or 55% of global population live in cities. As a result, cities are becoming more vertical to free up space at street level and make the best use of resources. With more than 200,000 people moving into urban areas on a daily basis, cities today account for more than 70% of global CO2 emissions.

To cope with the ever-increasing urban population and its related carbon footprint, innovative vertical mobility solutions have become critical elements in making cities good places to life and more sustainable by moving people smarter and more efficiently in complex infrastructures and in buildings.

TK Elevator is one of the world's leading elevator companies with unique engineering capabilities. In this seminar, Christoph Aebischer, Vice President, Sales Asia Pacific at TK Elevator, will explore how TKE is striving to make cities a better place to live by developing innovative, efficient and reliable vertical transportation systems.
