Get creative and make a simple clutch or pouch. Learn to craft with leather like a pro. We are offering a beginner level course that will teach you practical leather crafting using traditional tools. You will be shown a wide range of leatherworking techniques and materials and then shown how to apply them to a design.
The workshop is designed to give each student the best opportunity to learn while practicing the techniques. Start with the basics and learn to create something the beautiful to use. Space is limited.
This is the beginner's class to leather craft. During the 2 hours session, you will:
• Learn about the leather language
• Learn about the leather tools and their uses
• From theory to action – make a leather product to take home.
You can choose to make a clutch with the following sizes:
1.Small Size: 19 x 10 cm - 400RMB
2.Medium Size: 23 x 19 cm - 500RMB

Chong
Chong Yanting was born in Singapore and spent most of her adulthood in the corporate world, with experience in finance, marketing, brand and communications. Due to her love for arts and design, she left corporate life and devoted her last few years in pottery, leather craft and textile. Her strength is in drawing a fine balance in functionality, creativity and fun in her works. She first started "Bianca's" as an outlet to vent her creative energy and now, with "Bianca's Atelier", as an outlet where she can share her experience in leather craft.

- All leathers are imported by teacher as she can be assured of working with the right overseas supplier. It is unfortunate that the embossed design is out of stock at the moment. Teacher will only have new leathers arriving second half of the year but selection is not available yet. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
- CCS couldn't provide a list of leathers before the bookings because the leather stocks are moving all the time so we could only provide what's latest/ available a week before class. After the workshop,teacher will also provide the tools list so from there interested students can progress further on the their to buy from taobao.
- Due to the value of the material, once you confirm the leather material with the teacher, the fee will be incurred, which means there will be no refund if you are absent for personal reasons. You can come for a make-up session next time if there are other sessions, we will inform you if the date is confirmed.
