Stanford University development economist Scott Rozelle has been back in the Chinese countryside with his colleagues to assess the latest state of wealth, employment and education. The professor will share insights, including some updates on his 2020 book that examined conditions in the rural and informal economies.

Scott Rozelle is the co-director of the Stanford Center on China's Economy and Institutions. He is the author of Invisible China (2020).
