China's Supreme People's Court annulled 116 interpretations and other documents effective January 1, 2021. This also included four older employment dispute related regulations. At the same time, a new consolidated employment dispute interpretation entered into effect. Ralph Koppitz will explain its key content in the context of the current labor laws, including on:

โข post-contractual non-compete obligations
โข overtime payment
โข oral changes to labor contracts
โข amicable termination and settlement agreements
โข involvement of the trade union in terminations
โข basic procedural aspects in labor disputes
