In 2017, CGTN held its first annual Global Media Summit, an event designed as a stage for facilitating a global conversation between Chinese and international media organizations, and a platform where ideas and experiences can be exchanged.
With a focus on "Opening and Connecting the World" the 2020 Global Media Summit provides a dynamic variety of dialogue opportunities, including seminars, keynote speeches, and panel discussions. Over 500 domestic and international media practitioners, high-level decision makers from prolific organizations, and pioneers in the industry are coming together to discuss, decipher, and debate some of today's most hotly contested issues and trending topics, all while exploring a spectrum of opportunities and challenges.
