[Fully Booked] Regional Annual General Assembly 2021

Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham,

This year's Regional Annual General Assembly (RAGA) of SwissCham Shanghai will take place on Friday, March 12, 2021.

We have 2 special announcements to make:

1. We are happy to offer a free entrance to our members (1 per member company and 1 for Individual / Individual Associate member).
2. We propose to postpone the Board Elections; please read on for more details.

Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19, SwissCham Shanghai was forced last year to postpone its General Assembly from March to September.

This change gave the Board only a short time to develop ideas and implement new strategies for the Chamber. The usual time for a Board member to serve in the Board is one full year. This period is almost cut in half in the current term if we were to hold elections in March 2021.

Therefore, the Board proposes to hold the General Assembly in March, as stipulated by the Bylaws. However, for the elections, we would propose to move them to summer of this year. This will give the current Board members enough time to work on their commitments made to the Chamber.

Cancellation of RSVP

In case you need to cancel your attendance to the event, please write an email to: events@sha.swisscham.org or by telephone 021 5368 1245 at least 48 hours prior to the event. A "no show bill" would be charged if failure to cancel your registration timely. For third-party events, the event terms and conditions of the event organizer would be applied.
