Broad adoption of data technology is reshaping the business landscape in Asia. Those who are empowered with cloud-based technologies and professional services will have the key to success. Hence, during the seminar, Dongliang Guo, Senior Solution Architect Data and AI at Alibaba Cloud International, will have a special sharing on Double 11 and explain how Alibaba's cloud technologies facilitate the world's largest shopping festival to take place with "zero down time" and how new technologies, such as AI and livestreaming, remarkably enhance customer experience. Dongliang will also shed some light on how to achieve successful implementation in Asia by leveraging Alibaba Cloud's tailored Asia Accelerator solutions. Finally, Dongliang will deliver a few success stories for a better understanding of what it takes to succeed.

On the other hand, China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) came into effect on November 1, 2021, aiming at protecting personal information interests in the usage, collection, storage, and protection of data. The PIPL is a significant piece of legislation with far reaching effects for those multi-national companies growing business in China. The law enforces all the companies to take necessary steps to comply with the ground rules regarding how data is collected, used, and stored. BearingPoint specializes in helping their clients to identify and fix the gaps from the customer data platform (CDP) perspective, and during the seminar, Charles Han, Director of Consumer Goods and Retail Industry at BearingPoint, will share their experience in building harmony between customer personalization and data compliance through a case study.
