Event Details

So, you might know about Sir Victor Sassoon and the Cathay (Peace) Hotel, and you've been to the Jewish Refugees Museum in Hongkou – but how much do you know about Jewish life in the former French Concession?

Find out on this two-hour walking tour with Patrick Cranley, one of the founders of Historic Shanghai.

Learn about the clubs, hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, homes and cinemas that Jewish folks owned or frequented in the first half of the 20th century, right in the heart of the former French Concession.
