Webinar Overview: Energy and Resources Working Group Update
The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified conversations surrounding sustainable low-carbon transitions, with economic recovery plans providing the opportunity to quicken the transition process.
This session will examine Xi Jinping's pledge to make China "carbon neutral" by 2060 and peak carbon emissions before 2030. The role of LNG, renewables and green finance will be explored in achieving these aims.
Future sessions will continue the energy theme and may include topics such as coal, nuclear, solar (PV), wind and hydrogen.
