Throughout the years, the Chinese government implemented several regulations in order to promote the employment of people with disabilities. To ensure equal opportunities for challenged employees, especially after the implementation of "Chinese Employment Promotion Law" in 2008, many new laws and regulations were promulgated – on both central and various local government levels. These new laws not only intensified the efforts to make a beneficial environment for both employee and company, but also give real financial incentives to encourage employers to hire and retain employees with disabilities.
In this workshop, the German Chamber of Commerce l Shanghai in partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai are calling CEOs, Finance managers, HR managers and all further interested parties to join and find out why you should hire people with disabilities. Not only will you gain insights from CSR pioneers on how diversity and inclusion shall be used as an integral part of sustainability, but also learn how it actually benefits your business.
To bring it all together, we will share best practices of leading companies on how and where to source people with disabilities which will simplify the employment process later.
