Alan is an International Growth Manager at Lark, an all-in-one collaboration suite for high-growth teams. Previously, Alan worked at the World Economic Forum where he focused on the governance issues of the fourth industrial revolution technologies. He was also a digital strategy consultant focused on helping multinational companies better understand China and Chinese companies go global.

Dalida is the founder of the Beijing Mindfulness Centre, author of Mindfulness for Beginners, the book for mindful parenting. She holds certifications as Professional Certified Coach (ICF) Mindfulness, Wellness and Somatic Coach, MSC Teacher and Hakomi practitioner.

Charles is a Forbes 30 under 30, data-driven financial journalist with more than 7 years of experience. He has set up one-on-one interviews with top news makers in business, including Bridgewater Associates' Ray Dalio, Blackstone's Steve Schwarzman, Starbucks' Howard Schultz, Dow Dupont's Andrew Liveris and ABB's Ulrich Spiesshofer. He has also interviewed numerous economists, strategists and analysts from major banks and other financial institutions.

Originally from the wilds of Northwest Montana, Joe studied history at Harvard College where spent his time falling into endless Wikipedia holes and browsing the dustiest tomes of the university library. In 2015 he moved to Beijing to pursue a master’s degree at the Yenching Academy of Peking University during which time he honed both his research skills and his China nerd credentials. Joe believes that knowledge is quite literally power and that good research can change lives. Today, Joe puts his particular set of skills to work for Trivium China, a Beijing-based strategic advisory firm specializing in Chinese economic and political developments.

Joan is a Creative Producer at Versatile Media, a Chinese film studio, where she develops global stories. She has a background in screenwriting working on US-China coproductions and other culture-bridging endeavors. Joan is a Global Shaper of Beijing Hub II.

Tania initiated Humanity in Tech, a core project under the Tech Forward Initiative of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community. Humanity in Tech aims to foster conversations on the future of technology and its impact on society. In 2016, she co-founded a project to expand refugee youth access to higher education and presented at the United Nations. She currently works in Beijing as Director at Due West Education where she oversees its undergraduate division. She received her bachelor’s degree from Amherst College.
