Liu Bing commenced her posting as Deputy Consul-General and Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner at the Australian Consulate-General in Shanghai in Jan 2019.

Prior to this role, Bing worked as Senior China Adviser, Acting General Manager, Asia, Acting Executive Direc-tor, International Markets and Asia Lead, Global Markets based in Austrade’s Sydney office.

Bing started working with Austrade in 2001, the most recent role offshore was the Acting Senior Trade Commis-sioner/Deputy Consul General at the Australian Consulate General Shanghai. While in Shanghai, Bing man-aged the Austrade East China network of offices by providing business opportunities and services for Australian entities in trade, education and inward investment.

Bing has also worked in similar roles in both Guangzhou and Beijing at the Australian Consulate in Guangzhou and the Australian Embassy in Beijing respectively from 2004-2012.

Bing holds a bachelor degree of Medicine from China and a bachelor degree of Nursing from Australia.

Andrew Cox is General Manager of Meat & Livestock Australia’s International Marketing program, with oversight of its global offices and marketing investments. Currently residing in Singapore, he previously managed MLA’s Japan and Korea programs from 2014-2019. Andrew started with MLA’s domestic marketing department in 2006 as a consumer research manager and before moving overseas he was group marketing manager, with primary responsibility for consumer promotions and market insights programs aimed at growing beef and lamb demand. Andrew studied economics and marketing at Sydney University and spent eight years at multinational consumer research agency Millward Brown, managing projects for clients such as Unilever foods, Campbell-Arnotts, Kelloggs and Ferrero. Andrew’s family are from Mudgee in central west NSW, where they own a mixed grazing, cropping and vineyard property.
