Info for New Members - About VDMA CEO Breakfast
The CEO Breakfast series is aiming for Top Executives from VDMA members in China to inform them about current lead topics that affect their businesses.
In cooperation with selected industrial and business experts the target is to provide a CEO Breakfast series to VDMA members who are having concerns and need strategic guidance for their operations in China. During the breakfast time you will have this unique opportunity to exchange ideas with your peers and learn from the experts and from each other.
This year our main topic will be the Corporate Social Credit System ("CSCS") in cooperation with Taylor Wessing.
Objective:
To understand how Corporate Social Credit System of China ("CSCS") works, and its impact on foreign invested enterprises, so as to be prepared for the increased compliance requirements resulting from the CSCS.

Cara Meng is a Senior Associate at Taylor Wessing based in Shanghai Office. Cara specializes in advising on compliance matters. Throughout the last 7 years Cara has advised various MNC's and SME's from different industries on compliance related matters. This covers both investigation work on complex internal investigations but also setting-up and maintaining compliance management systems for the China operations of foreign invested enterprises.
