This month CCS is here to promote the critical awareness of men's mental health needs as part of Men's International Mental Health Day on Sunday November 19th.
CCS Bow-vember campaign is going to raise awareness and funds to support Subsidized Counseling in our community and to provide free and low-cost therapy to men in China who are not covered by insurance or able to access mental health services.
What is Bow-vember?
We are here to support men's mental health by dedicating November 19th Men's International Mental Health Day to CCS's first ever Bow-vember Day! On this day, whether at work or at school or working out etc, whether you are male or female, we can all wear a green bow tie to signify the recognition and support of the importance of male mental health!
Take action in our community by proudly wearing your Bow-vember green bow-tie with any outfit of your choice!
How to raise awareness and show support:
1. you can order one of our green bow-ties to wear yourself on November 19 or Friday November 17 in honor of Sunday 19th.
2. you can order green bow ties for your office, workplace, school or community group
3. you can order green bow ties for your sports team and wear these during the game on Saturday November 18 or Sunday November 19 and we will feature your team's picture in our social media post to support International Men's Mental Health Day 2023
We understand it's hard for men to ask for help. Remember, it takes time, courage and support to face challenges and distress in life but you can reach out and get the help and care you need.
Men and boys, be there for yourself, your friends, and your brothers!

- joining our Men's Sharing Circle on November 28th
- use a free online counselling session to check in on your mental health
- asking your mate, classmate, colleague, father, uncle, brother, neighbour how they are doing in their life
- begin the journey to looking out for yourself and the wellbeing of the men around you
