China's automotive market has performed a V-shape recovery and delivered the first growth after 21 consecutive months of year-on-year declines in April. On the one hand, most OEMs launched cost-cutting initiatives and several suppliers and startups face financial struggles. On the other hand, resilient companies may capture opportunities to emerge stronger from this crisis than their competitors. We invited automotive executives to discuss their outlook on the industry in 2020-2021 and share their companies' case studies.

  • Market outlook 2020 H2 and 2021: How sustainable is the current V-shape recovery? Which segment shifts do we see? Who are winners and losers in the new normal?
  • Government policy: Are current policies sufficient for key suppliers and OEMs to survive? Which policies would be desirable for a sustainable market growth?
  • Industry outlook: Which consolidation and alliances may we expect?
  • Company strategy: Which internal and supply chain projects will be cancelled and which ones accelerated? Which product pipeline adjustments will we see? Which opportunities are you looking to seize?
