On 1 April, from 10:00 - 11:00am (Beijing time), AustCham China and AustCham Shanghai will co-brand a Post Budget Briefing to reflect on the Australian Federal Budget, to be announced by the Treasurer Josh Frydenberg on 29 March.

Returning again this year, Richard Yetsenga, Chief Economist and Head of Research at ANZ, will give a breakdown of the 2022-2023 Budget, providing insights and analysis on budget outcomes, including deficit, spending tax, revenue and key portfolios to focus on.

With raising global commodity prices, international instability, gradual reopening of borders, and Government commitments towards fiscal consolidation, this discussion will be a reflection on what this means for Australian businesses both domestically and abroad.

Robert Campbell, Senior Consultant, Strategy at AIIB and AustCham China Board Member, will moderate the presentation, which will be then followed by a Q&A session, allowing attendees to ask direct questions to Mr. Yetsenga.

This event will be held as a webinar and zoom links will be sent out to attendees prior to the event.
