AUCA

AUCA is a non-for-profit association of professionals representing international higher education institutions in China. The full name of AUCA is American Universities in China Association. The Chinese name of AUCA has been slightly altered to reflect the fact that an increasing number of non-American universities and their official delegates are becoming members of the AUCA community. Founded in 2014 by three American university representatives, AUCA currently has over 150 representatives from more than 120 leading global universities. These university representatives are from the United States, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Singapore, Spain and Switzerland.

The purposes of the association are exclusively educational, not for profit, and are to promote educational, academic, and cultural exchanges and understandings between international higher education institutions and Chinese students, families and institutions; and assist in the development of professional competence and expertise of individuals involved in the above-mentioned endeavor.

The governing body of AUCA is composed of a number of committees and sub-committees and an advisory board. Four sub-committees are currently existing: ๏‚ทCareer Services Committee, Student Recruitment Committee, Alumni Engagement Committee, and Academic Partnership Committee. All committee members and advisors are volunteers and receive NO compensation for their services to AUCA. AUCA organizes undergraduate recruitment fairs, high school tours, graduate recruitment fairs, career fairs for Chinese returnees, career workshops, alumni mixers and international education forums through out the year.

Event Details

In 2026 Summer and Fall, AUCA will be hosting a variety of in-person and virtual events to support students to learn more about the industrial development trend and career opportunities in China.


The In-person events will be held in Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai. It features Student Career Development Forums, In-person Career Fairs, Company Visits and Employer Talk and Career Workshops. Students will also have the chance to improve their resume writing and interview skills through One-on-One Sessions with HR managers. Meanwhile, the online Employer Sharing Workshops from July to October will allow students to participate remotely and connect with employers from different cities in China.


The 2026 AUCA Summer & Fall Career Events are excellent opportunities for employers to meet with outstanding candidates from top global universities, including undergraduate, graduate, PhD students and alumni who are seeking full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities in China.

About AUCA

Since its founding in 2014 by three representatives of U.S. universities based in China, AUCA has attracted more than 150 representatives from overseas colleges and universities. At present, AUCA has nearly 100 members, who are official representatives from more than 60 institutions around the world. These institutions are located in the United States, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Singapore and many other countries.

About AUCA Career Events

AUCA Career Events are high-quality career events for oversea talents from top universities. Since 2016, AUCA has organized over 60 physical and virtual career fairs and career forums all over China, attracting more than 500 employers, and 40,000+ students and alumni from over 500 oversea universities to participate. We aim to bring more career opportunities for returnees and deepen the collaboration relations between oversea universities and employers in China.

It helps the university and students learn more about China's employment market and effectively bridges oversea students with high-quality internships and full-time jobs in China.
