"Each development team consists of 3-4 software engineers, a quality assurance engineer, a product manager and a team lead. During the 15-minute daily stand-up we discuss what we had worked on the day before, what we will be working on today and whether there are any blockers/impediments to our daily tasks that need to be resolved. After the stand-up we start working on our given set of tasks. In my company and most technology companies, development is organised into short release cycles (between 2 and 4 weeks) called "sprints"."
