Happy New Year!

The Beijing Women's Network holds Monthly Spotlight Dinners to bring our membership together and share professional and personal experiences. Each dinner we spotlight one of our members, who then leads a discussion centered around their own experiences or a topic of choice.

Lily Rogers is a Strategy and Development Manager at the UFCH-United Family Charitable Fund, the official charitable foundation of United Family Healthcare.

In the last year, Lily has worked in collaboration with partners and supporters to deliver healthcare to China's most vulnerable populations. Before joining UFCH she worked at the American Chamber of Commerce in China's Healthcare Cooperation Program. She received her BA from Columbia University and has a certificate in Chinese Language Studies from Peking University. She currently serves on the Leadership Council of the Beijing Women's Network, and heads up the Healthy Living Series. Before moving to Beijing, she had an eight year career as a professional ballerina with the San Francisco Ballet, and got her first glimpse of China while on tour with the company in 2009.

Join our first BWN spotlight dinner of 2017 and hear Lily talk about her work in Beijing and how she managed difficult career choices. Lily will share her experiences training and performing as a professional ballerina in one of the best ballet companies in the world, and how her unique journey has allowed her to leverage skills and perspectives to make difficult career choices, transitions and face new challenges.

The dinner cost will be paid on a go-dutch basis, as usual. It will be around RMB80/ person. Organizer will announce the payment method during the dinner.
