Event Details

The PMM Series focuses on issues specifically relating to Pregnancy, Marriage and Motherhood. Initiated in March 2016, the group hosted dinners to connect our community, discuss relevant issues and identify the needs of the community.

In addition to dinners that highlight the backgrounds of our members, the PMM Series also invites speakers to focus on the identified needs and interests of women who work through pregnancy, marriage and motherhood. Topics cover both personal and professional lives of the Beijing PMM community.

Conscious Relationships:

It’s an interesting and yet perplexing fact that most of us attend school for at least 12 years, but sometimes many years longer. However, we almost never learn anything about what it takes to create good, healthy relationships. In this talk, Dr. Theo Cope will present some ideas and research findings about creating conscious, intentional and mindful relationships. Through becoming aware of our needs and expectations of others in our life as well as something about the normal stages of relationships, we can create relationships that help us and others thrive. This talk will be interactive and provide useful resources for participants to pursue creating conscious and mindful relationships.
