Beijing Women’s Network and JingJobs brings together panelists and experts monthly to empower young and mid-range professionals to build upon their professional skills and networks.

Professional Photographer Aaron Berkovich will be taking professional headshots for our attendees from 6pm-7:30pm at the venue.

Part 1: Personal Branding + Professional Confidence Presentations

What is a personal branding? Personal branding markets your skills and strengths and emphasizes your core values, passions, and key defining traits in order to help you stand out amongst your colleagues, competitors, and peers. Personal Branding can help lead to better professional opportunities, a broader network, more clients and partners for your company, and industry recognition. What is professional confidence and why is it so important for young (female) professionals? Professional Confidence is a self-understanding, a willingness to advocate for yourself, and a willingness to take calculated risks in order to achieve professional gain. It is not only knowing your skills and strengths, but having faith in your ability to learn, grow, improve, and overcome obstacles. This is crucial when starting your career or enter new positions and industries especially for women. According to studies, women negotiate less, make excuses for their accomplishments, undervalue their skill sets, don't asset their authority, and ask for less raises and promotions than their male counterparts. This panel and workshop will work together to help your define your personal vision as well as build your brand and professional confidence through knowledge and experience sharing from experts and peers.

Part 2: Q&A Panel

Part 3: Breakout Sessions

Attendees will be broken into 5 groups to discuss and compare challenges professionals face in the workforce regarding personal branding, understanding and discovering their own unique skill sets, and how best to develop professional confidence within different work contexts and industries.

This event is open to all.
