As a Gao 1 and Gao 2 student you have heard that America’s top colleges and universities carefully evaluate your extracurricular activities…But what does that really mean?
What type of extracurricular activities will give you a competitive advantage? What are Admissions Officers trying to evaluate when they review your extracurricular activities? How can you demonstrate leadership skills through your extracurriculars?
Your Gao 1 and 2 year of high school is the perfect time to evaluate your extracurricular involvement and be strategic about which ones you pursue. You will undoubtedly be writing about your extracurriculars in your college essays and talking about them in your interview, so it is important that you have a clear plan.
Join ESC for a very special presentation which will help you think carefully about your extracurricular choices and inspire you to effectively develop your extracurricular involvement during these critical years of high school.
At our Extracurricular Inspiration, you can:
· Listen to ESC’s passionate and creative Gao 3 students describe their diverse extracurricular activities, and explain how these experiences have influenced their college search
· Find out how to become more involved in your own communities and turn your hobbies into inspiring projects
· Discover how you can manage SAT and TOEFL classes, homework, and extracurricular activities
· Meet other Gao 1 and Gao 2 students who share your interests!
Our presentation includes ESC students who will be VIP speakers and are looking forward to sharing their experiences with you, and answering all of your questions!
