[Webinar] Rising Global Inflation and Consumer Prices in the People’s Republic of China

SwissCham is delighted to invite you to our upcoming seminar of the series on the topic "Rising Global Inflation and Consumer Prices in the People's Republic of China" on Thursday, August 11, in partnership with the Swiss Embassy.

In our first presentation and communication of this series, Ms. Suzanne Streit, Deputy Head of the Economic, Financial and Commercial Section of the Swiss Embassy, will be talking to Mr. Dominik Peschel, Head of the Economist Unit at the Asian Development Bank from the German Central Bank. Inflation is touching new highs worldwide, never seen since 1980, with a slim chance of a foreseeable future decrease. Inflation impacts import prices in China and might probably impact direct investment as western companies will need to reassess their investment opportunities worldwide. What is the inflation status in China? How does inflation impact consumer prices in China? Join us and find out more about inflation in China and worldwide.
