[Webinar] China Data Protection 2022 - from Abstract Analysis to Practical Actions

Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham Shanghai,

Since the PRC Personal Information Protection Law and the PRC Data Security Law came into effect at the end of 2021, more than six months have passed and there have been quite some new developments. These new changes include not only new legislative developments, but also best compliance practices by companies.

To get a better understanding of these latest changes, SwissCham Shanghai is delighted to partner with Taylor Wessing law firm. Data protection specialist Dr. Michael Tan will share his latest observations and insights on hot topics concerning data protection, which include:

• What is new in 2022 (e.g. the new data export assessment rules and draft SCCs)
• Implications of new rules, with particular focus on cross border data transmission aspects
• Case studies, i.e. how a good data protection compliance system will help on liability side
