Do you employ foreign nationals in China?

How to prepare for China's Individual Income Tax Reform

Friday, 16 April 2021

2:45 PM – 4:00 PM(GMT+8)

(Registration Deadline: 15 April 2021, 6:00 PM)

Under the current Chinese individual income tax (IIT) law certain allowances of companies which employ foreign nationals are exempt from the individual income tax, e.g. housing allowance, children's education fees and language training expenses. If implemented as planned, the IIT reform under way will no longer permit these non-taxable allowances from 1 January 2022. This will increase human resource costs for companies and increase the tax burden for foreign nationals, potentially affecting the attraction of foreign experts and talents.

Join us for this webinar to understand the impacts of the new tax law on your company and employees in China. We will also share our take on the matter, our advocacy approach and insights from the exchange with authorities. Participant questions will be welcome!
