Thursdays with the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce: Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP)

On 15 November 2020, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) was signed at the 37th ASEAN summit. The RCEP is a free trade agreement (FTA) between the 10 ASEAN Members, its dialogue partners Australia, China, Japan, Korea and New Zealand, and is an important milestone in the regional economic integration.
Companies that are located in the RCEP-region can leverage on this FTA and benefit from the preferential market access provided. The Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC) is organizing a members-only webinar on the benefits of this agreement which will cover:
- Tariffs elimination
- Rules of Origin
- Service-sector liberalization
- Non-tariff barriers
