July Chamber Meeting: EU-China Relations During Germany's EU Presidency
Farewell of the Delegate and Chief Representative of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Shanghai
What will the German EU presidency bring to international relations? The German Consul General, Dr. Christine Althauser, presents the main program points of Germany's EU presidency and then discusses together with Consul Generals of France, Austria and the Czech Republic their perspectives on inner-European cooperation and EU cooperation with third countries. A special focus will be put on EU-China ties in general, on the influence of COVID-19 on the relationship and on opportunities and challenges for European companies in China in these difficult times.
After the panel discussion we would like to bid farewell to Simone Pohl, our Delegate and Chief Representative of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Shanghai & Executive Director and Board Member of the German Chamber of Commerce | Shanghai, who after 5 ½ years will be leaving Shanghai in August.
