Current economic headwinds and international trade spats pose challenges for businesses worldwide. Yet German and Chinese businesses and our governments have intensified their cooperation to stem the tide. Expectations are high to reach an ambitious EU-China investment agreement, a substantial WTO reform and concrete steps to broaden market access. The time is right to give our bilateral economic relations a boost.
