卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院（KIT）是 "亥姆霍兹协会的研究型大学"。作为德国唯一一所拥有国家级大型研究部门的优秀大学，我们为学生、研究人员和员工提供独特的学习、教学和工作条件。这所学术教育机构的历史可以追溯到1825年。今天的卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院是2009年卡尔斯鲁厄理工大学和卡尔斯鲁厄研究中心合并的产物。

The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is a "The University in the Helmholtz Association." As the only German university of excellence with a national large-scale research department, KIT offers unique learning, teaching, and working conditions for students, researchers, and staff. The history of this academic institution dates back to 1825. Today's KIT was formed in 2009 through the merger of the University of Karlsruhe and the Karlsruhe Research Center.

目前，有1万多名教职工在KIT工作（414名教授），其中一半以上从事自然科学、工程学、经济学、人文和社会科学等广泛学科的研究。这使得KIT成为欧洲最大的科学机构之一。我们还有1600多名国际访问学者，在校学生数22000多名，博士学位攻读研究员3300多名，除了优秀的学术教育和前沿研究，创新也是我们的核心任务。我们不仅为社会和环境创造和传授知识，还利用这些知识开发工业应用。

Currently, over 10,000 employees (including 414 professors) work at KIT, more than half of whom are engaged in research across a wide range of disciplines, including natural sciences, engineering, economics, humanities, and social sciences. This makes KIT one of the largest scientific institutions in Europe. Additionally, KIT hosts over 1,600 international visiting scholars, enrolls more than 22,000 students, and supports over 3,300 doctoral researchers. Beyond outstanding academic education and cutting-edge research, innovation is a core mission at KIT. We not only create and disseminate knowledge for society and the environment but also leverage this knowledge to develop industrial applications.

目前KIT拥有11个学院，150个研究所，9个跨学科跨部门的中心，涵盖气候与环境，基本粒子和天体粒子物理学，能源，健康技术，人类与技术，信息-系统-技术，技术和生命科学中的材料，科学、工程和经济中的数学以及交通系统。

KIT currently comprises 11 departments, 150 institutes, and 9 interdisciplinary and cross-departmental centers, covering areas such as climate and environment, elementary particle and astroparticle physics, energy, health technologies, humans and technology, information-systems-technology, materials in technology and life sciences, mathematics in science, engineering, and economics, as well as transportation systems.

KIT's goal is to contribute to addressing global challenges through pioneering research in the fields of energy, transportation, and information. To this end, we place great emphasis on long-term engagement and exchange with society.

2025年是KIT的200周年校庆之年，也是KIT中国研究院在苏州工业园区成立的第11个年头，KIT始终把国际合作交流作为创新发展的重要支柱。

The year 2025 marks KIT's 200th anniversary and the 11th year since the establishment of the KIT China Research Institute in Suzhou Industrial Park. KIT has always regarded international cooperation and exchange as a crucial pillar for innovative development.
