Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA) represents the automotive manufactures and supplier companies, active in all areas of the motor traffic industry (like economic and transport policy, technical legislation, quality assurance, taxation and it’s the organizer of the world’s largest automobile exhibition, the International Motor Show (IAA)) to ensure the continued competitive utilization of their experiences and skills. VDA has more than 600 member companies, including 17 automobile manufactures, 542 parts and accessories providers and 63 others (trailers, special bodies and buses). Members work together to stimulate automotive industry development.

The Quality Management Center (QMC) has been found-ed in Germany in August, 1997. The role and responsibili-ties undertaken by the QMC are varied and the questions surroundings quality management in the automotive industry occupy us on daily basis. VDA QMC has 30 working groups, including more than 400 German automotive industry quality management experts from automotive OEMs and suppliers, working on related topics to quality management in this industry. The structure of working group guarantees regular updates of relevant standards. The main task of the VDA QMC training organization is to pass on the latest standards developed by the work-ing group to the staff in the automotive industry through special quality management training course. The main advantage of the VDA QMC training is the experts who set and teach the training course are usually involved in standard setting at the same time. Meanwhile, with the support of the training and business development departments, VDA QMC’s authorized instructors can provide training to students from all over the world.

The VDA QMC Chna has been founded in February 2006 in China. The tasks and services provided by the VDA QMC China are working on issues in automotive quality management related with the target of continuous improvement. The spectrum ranges from the development of systems and methods to the design of future quality management systems and to improve your production capability and know-how. The VDA QMC China reports to VDA QMC Headquarters in Berlin. The QMC China are controlled by the Quality ex-ecutive committee in German, the QMB.
