Introduction
In May 2018, AHK Innovation Hub was honored to be inaugurated by German Chancellor Angela Merkel during her visit to Shenzhen. The Innovation hub is aimed to connect the traditional German industry and the startup ecosystem in Shenzhen. On 12th December 2018, German Chamber of Commerce and German Industry and Commerce in China · South and Southwest will have our AHK INNOVATION NIGHT, which is a networking event to meet with the German community in South China and local startup companies.
We are excited to have Dr. Achim Dercks, Deputy Chief Executive of the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) to give an opening speech, followed by the introduction of innovative startup companies that share their creativity and experiences.
The event will be held at BEE+ Shekou, an innovative co-working space and representing the current trend in China. The registration for this event is free and limited. Come and join us to experience the Shenzhen innovative vibe!

German Chamber of Commerce - South & Southwest China
The German Chamber of Commerce in China is the official member organization which represents German companies doing business in China. The German Chamber helps its members succeed by providing up-to-date market information and practical advice. It offers a platform for the Sino-German business community and represents its members’ interests towards stakeholders, including governmental and public stakeholders. The Chamber was founded in 1999 and currently has around 2,400 members in mainland China.
